Training and Education
At Missoula Federal Credit Union, we strive to nurture talent and develop professional individuals. All of our employees have unlimited access to educational materials and ongoing credit union education. Our 11,000 sq. ft. Corporate Training Center provides 3 training rooms, a computer lab, and a mock-teller line, fully equipped with Teller Terminals. Our knowledgeable staff members have developed several internal training programs that are made available to all of our employees; for example, all of our Financial Service Representative-Tellers go through TeTra
training where they gain exposure to financial regulations & policies, our financial institution’s programs and software, and gain experience processing daily transactions. Supervisors and employees in other leadership roles have the opportunity to complete Take the Lead
, an 18 month leadership development program implemented to focus on interpersonal skills. We believe effective communication is crucial in developing relationships not only with our members, but fellow employees. Social Styles
is a course in which employees learn about the social style they most closely associate with. Not only is the employee’s social style determined, but they are also equipped with the skills necessary to effectively communicate with those who may communicate or learn in different ways.

Financial Service Representative- Teller
Our FSR-Tellers are the face of our credit union. Qualified applicants will have excellent customer service and cash handling skills as well as the ability to cross-sell products and services. We understand that learning a new job can be intimidating, so prime candidates will be willing to learn new computer programs, products and services, and have a positive attitude. Previous banking experience is a plus, but not required. Please submit an application by 5:00pm on Friday, February 20th.
Financial Service Representative- eBranch
Our eBranch department serves our members by answering email and phone inquiries. We're looking to fill a full-time position vacancy in this department. Qualified applicants will be a team player, enjoy interacting with members by phone, and have exceptional communication skills. Must be comfortable with technology, have the ability to multi-task, and provide excellent member service. Applicants should have exceptional problem-solving skills, be willing to learn MFCU products/services and be able to cross-sell those products and services to our members.
